White Poppy Psychology is not your typical therapy space, it’s a sanctuary. One where science meets soul and spirituality meets psychology. As a clinical psychologist, I offer the structure of psychology and the depth of spirituality.
Over my years in practice working in both public and private psychology settings, one thing I’ve noticed is that traditional psychology often only takes people so far and many of my clients have come to me seeking more. More depth, more authenticity, more humanness. They don’t want a diagnosis, they don’t want to treat symptoms, they want to be seen and understood and guided towards intuitive change and transformation (even if that’s scary).
I am a strong believer in the power of human connection and feel that we all need a sense of community. We need to feel held, safe and non-judged. We need to know that it’s ok to express, to receive and even to be well.
What I offer is not traditional therapy. Instead, I offer highly attuned support working at the root cause of struggle or suffering. Therapy with me includes work on the body, mind and soul levels, as I don't believe these can be separated out.
What this might look like in therapy is drawing your attention to subtle shifts in body language, breathing or eye movements, to understand the subconscious patterns that often can’t be spoken.
It might look like questioning the narrative or sitting with a feeling that’s been long suppressed.
It might look like listening to the needs of your body or understanding the impact of your hormonal and gut systems on your emotions.
It might look like finally offering space for your inner child to speak up.
It might look like exploring some of the big questions like "why am I here", "why do I feel disconnected from the life I'm living" or "what actually matters to me".
There is space for all of it. No part of you is too much.

Please note that I'm currently seeing clients via telehealth but will be expanding to a face to face practice located on the south-side of Brisbane shortly. I will continue to offer telehealth sessions for new and existing clients who cannot visit the practice in person.
Most clients will access therapy underneath a current mental health care plan or eating disorders treatment plan from your GP, however this is not a requirement and you do not need a diagnosis or treatment plan.
My therapy style is best suited to those seeking long-term support, although I do offer short term therapy, if that's a better fit for your needs or current stage of your journey.
Therapy with me flows like a natural conversation and feels human, rather than clinical. There's is no right or wrong, just the two of us working together towards a shared goal of healing and transformation. My role is to hold a space for you to remember who you are.


All sessions are via telehealth (video or phone), allowing you to be in the comfort of your familiar space. Upon booking, you will receive a link to a secure online therapy room, which you can access on any device, or you will receive a phone call at the selected time. Please feel free to bring a cup of tea or coffee, along with anything else that helps you feel safe or at home.
