I began my journey to become a clinical psychologist born out of a deep empathy and sadness around seeing others in pain and struggling and particularly knowing so many are alone in this. Rather than it being "what I do", I see it as "who I am".
The name White Poppy Psychology was chosen as white poppies are traditionally laid down to signify the end of war and the beginning of peace. Through connection in the therapy space, my hope is that each individual is able to reconnect with what has been lost, end the internal battle and return "home" to a place of peace within.
I'm a huge book lover and began reading books on the human body and mind, along with spirituality from the age of 12 and the moment I picked up my first psychology textbook, I fell in love. That passion is stronger than ever after years seeing my clients flourish and become who they were always meant to be.
In my time outside of work I am blessed to be a mother to two sons who bring me the greatest joy.

I believe healing is not just about addressing symptoms. It is about understanding and being understood, connecting and releasing, expanding and integrating. Human beings are complex and need to be met in all layers of this complexity.
While I draw from many therapeutic frameworks to guide the therapy process, all of my work is trauma- and attachment-informed, and incorporates modalities such as transpersonal psychology, psychodynamics, mindfulness and ACT.

I am a board-certified Clinical Psychologist, registered with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

If you’re tired of trying to figure it all out alone, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can begin your journey toward healing, growth, and the life you truly deserve.
